Mandatory pro bono program, which was adopted in response to a lobbyist initiative in 1989, ensures that every advocate, lobbyist and journalist devotes at least 40 hours to public interest immigration and Citizenship law service for FREE and without any type of consideration
Since the program’s inception in 1989, more than 86 percent of every member has exceeded the required 40 hours, and nearly 85 percent have indicated they are committed to performing pro bono when they become practicing representative under any regulatory body program or a licence.
CICC PROBONO CLINIC works with members organizations, legal service providers, government agencies, law firms, and other community partners to facilitate a wide variety of pro bono projects and opportunities.
