Voice Canada Publishing was founded on a simple belief:

Knowledge has value only when it is shared to improve society.

For more than 45 years, my professional journey has taken me across different countries, cultures, legal systems, governments, businesses, and communities. Those experiences have shaped my understanding of how institutions serve people—and where they sometimes fall short.

Throughout my career, I have worked as an immigration consultant, educator, federal lobbyist, journalist, author, business owner, advocate, and public policy contributor. Each role provided a different perspective on the challenges faced by individuals, families, businesses, professionals, and governments.

These experiences ultimately inspired me to write books—not merely to document the past, but to encourage discussion about building a better future.

Over four and a half decades, I have:

• Represented clients before immigration tribunals and Canadian courts. 
• Appeared before decision-makers and administrative bodies. 
• Worked with government departments and public institutions. 
• Participated in public consultations and legislative discussions. 
• Travelled internationally and observed different legal, political, and social systems. 
• Assisted thousands of individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. 
• Worked with businesses, professionals, educators, and community organizations. 
• Written extensively on public policy, governance, law, and social reform. 

Every experience became an opportunity to learn.

Every challenge became an opportunity to ask:

Can this system work better?

My books are not simply stories.

They are collections of observations gathered over decades of professional practice, travel, advocacy, and public service.

Many of them are written as open letters to governments, institutions, regulators, professionals, and future leaders.

Their purpose is to encourage reflection, discussion, and constructive reform.

Constructive criticism is an essential part of democratic societies.

Meaningful reform begins when citizens are willing to ask difficult questions and governments are willing to listen.

Systems should exist to serve people.

When institutions become less effective, less transparent, or less accountable, they should be reviewed and improved.

Reform is not about assigning blame.

It is about strengthening public confidence, improving fairness, protecting rights, and ensuring that future generations inherit institutions capable of meeting tomorrow's challenges.

The purpose of my books is not simply to describe problems.

The purpose is to encourage thoughtful discussion about practical solutions.

I hope readers, professionals, public servants, educators, policymakers, and future leaders will examine these ideas, challenge them where appropriate, improve upon them, and continue working toward stronger institutions.

Every generation inherits the work of those who came before.

Every generation also has a responsibility to improve what it inherits.

My books represent one person's contribution to that ongoing conversation.
