Dear our subscribers

We are delighted to announce a very special creative project.

Together with other Canadian corporations, I have embarked on a music-production project through VoiceCanada.ca, transforming a treasured collection of poetry by my late dear friend Leanita Goninon into songs so that her words can continue to be heard, enjoyed and remembered.

We are beginning in English and Arabic, with plans to adapt selected works into additional languages in the future.

We invite our family and friends around the world to listen, sample and enjoy the songs and albums as they become available through major music platforms, including Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Apple Music and many others.

Listen to a song. Explore an album. And if a song touches your heart, please share it with someone you love. ❤️

We will share the official listening links as they become available worldwide.

I already post it on Abby facebook but I think if I do not add URL will be difficult to locate the songs

Yes. The announcement will work much better with a clickable listening link. Otherwise friends have to search for “Nancy Salloum” or each title themselves, and some may give up—or find another artist with a similar title.

But I would not paste seven separate store URLs into the Facebook post. That becomes messy.

The best solution is a DistroKid HyperFollow link for each release. One HyperFollow page can give the listener choices such as Spotify and other available platforms. We already know DistroKid created a pre-save/HyperFollow page for NASEEM AL-ROUH. 

For Abby's Facebook post, once you have the links, edit the bottom to something like:

In DistroKid, open My Music → click the release → HyperFollow. Copy the public HyperFollow URL.

Since Soul of My Soul and A Glance Between Us are already further along, we can start with those links immediately if DistroKid shows them.

And you can edit Abby's existing Facebook post—there is no need to delete it and repost everything. Add a short “🎧 LISTEN HERE” section at the bottom as the links become available.

If you paste the HyperFollow URLs here as you find them, I'll organize them into a clean Facebook-ready block for you.

so, How do I get the link

If you click Download beside the track, expect this:

• Your browser will download an audio file of that song to your computer, usually into your Downloads folder. 
• It is the audio recording you previously uploaded to DistroKid—not a special public/store version. DistroKid describes Vault as storing the original master recordings you uploaded.  
• You can then play it on your computer, archive it, copy it to another drive, or use it as your backup master. 
• Clicking Download does not remove the song from DistroKid or the stores. It simply gives you a copy of the audio file.  

For example, if you click Download beside الدني حلوة معك, you should receive that song's audio file on your computer.

One useful point: because streaming services may compress audio, the downloaded original master may sound somewhat better than a streamed copy. 

So yes—you can safely click Download and see what you receive. It won't interfere with the release.

I need Link for Facebook listener to click and listen

Yes — you need one public link that your Facebook friends can click and immediately reach the music. The DistroKid management and Vault links are not the ones to use.

I checked the public web just now, and I cannot yet find a reliably indexed public Spotify/YouTube/Amazon page for “Nancy Salloum — NASEEM AL-ROUH.” That makes sense because DistroKid has delivered the album, but the individual stores may not yet have published/indexed it publicly.

So I recommend do not put a wrong link on Facebook tonight.

As soon as one store makes the album live, we'll use something like:

For now, your Facebook announcement can remain posted. When the first public store link appears, simply edit the existing Facebook post and add the listening link at the top.

And because DistroKid says the album has been successfully processed and delivered, we are now waiting on the stores—not fixing anything on your end.
